Either way, most people are glad they are here. In January 1982, The Dirt Brothers (otherwise known as the Thilmans), doing what they do best (drinking beer & eatin’ good) opened Madison Garden Bar & Grill, a little beer joint with lots of beers & a limited menu serving boiled & pickled eggs and chips & dip.Throughout the years, not only did the beer list expand to almost 200 different beers, the menu features monstrous burgers, mountainous salads, almost New York Pizza and the best wings in the area! Which is a very modest statement because these wings have been eaten and craved by international visitors from all across the planet.Not only has the menu expanded, but the building has evolved too. The “Dome” was added on to the back of the building including a loft. There’s darts and a pool table. Over all there’s 11 HD Flat Screen TV’s that set the place off for your sports. The stage is set for live music on Friday & Saturday nights (never a rip off cover charge). Plenty of nightly party events, and lots of drink specials.Come visit “The Garden”, 34 years in business located in downtown Richmond KY.
